About

An independent guide to life on Mars

Humans on Mars helps curious adults, educators and students picture everyday life on another planet: the time, the gravity, the distance from home, and what it would take to stay alive. We combine interactive tools with explainers that cite their sources.

We are independent. We are not affiliated with SpaceX, NASA, ESA or any other agency or company. When we describe a plan, we name who announced it and when, and we do not treat plans as achievements.
